A note about tonight

On to 2026- the star we are aiming for

Friends, We lost nothing. We were all pulled up by Aftyn, and we all pulled Aftyn up. We don’t go down. We can’t go down. We just keep going up together.

Yes, we are sad. But we carry this sad in a pocket while we keep moving forward, with our heads held high and our commitment firm and ongoing.

2026 is now our calling. We show up, for every race, for every person who decides to run, because they are answering the call to make this land we call Tennessee a better place for all of us to live. So rest, because we will be called upon for more, and we will give it.

I love and respect each of you for your determination, your belief, your hard work, and your unwillingness to be deterred.

And for you, dear Aftyn, thank you for reawakening our belief that when we act as one, we win as one. We begin anew.
